National Bank of Oman Honors Digital Partners in Second Annual Awards Ceremony

The National Bank of Oman (NBO) recently celebrated its key collaborators at the second annual Digital Partnership Awards ceremony held at its Muscat Head Office. The event brought together representatives from government bodies, private companies, and small and medium-sized enterprises to honor the strategic partnerships driving NBO's digital evolution and aligning with Oman's broader digital aspirations.

The awards specifically recognized partners whose joint efforts have significantly improved customer experiences, expanded the bank's digital payment infrastructure, and advanced digital banking services across the Sultanate. Notable recipients included the Royal Oman Police, the Civil Aviation Authority, and the Public Prosecution, who received the Best Digital Payment Processor Excellence Award. The Tax Authority, Muscat Municipality, the Ministry of Health, and the Central Bank of Oman were honored with the Best Digital Payment Acquirer Excellence Award.

Muzn Islamic Banking, a subsidiary of NBO, also presented its own excellence awards, with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs receiving accolades for Best Digital Payment Processor and Acquirer. The ceremony highlighted the critical role of collaboration in accelerating digital adoption, fostering inter-sectoral cooperation, and delivering seamless, customer-focused banking solutions.
