National Sun Yat-sen University and Hsiao-Ho Hospital Sign MOU to Cultivate Nursing Talent Amid Rising Healthcare Demands

Facing a growing demand for elder care and chronic disease management, coupled with the increasing application of smart healthcare, nursing education is encountering new challenges. In response, the Department of Nursing at the College of Medicine, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Nursing Department of Hsiao-Ho Hospital on June 21st.

This partnership signifies a commitment from both NSYSU and Hsiao-Ho Hospital to cultivate the next generation of nursing talent. The collaboration is designed to equip nursing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of modern healthcare.

The MOU aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and clinical practice, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.
