The Police Force is preparing a nationwide 'Speed Marathon' operation for Wednesday, April 15, focused on controlling compliance with the maximum permitted speed.

This intensive, 24-hour campaign is being organized by the Police Force under the umbrella of ROADPOL, an association of European traffic police. The primary objective is to rigorously monitor and enforce maximum speed limits on Slovak roads. Police patrols will be strategically deployed across numerous locations, with a particular focus on areas notorious for frequent accidents and traffic violations.
