The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has announced the immediate temporary closure of its branches located within Kuwait International Airport's Terminal 1 and Terminal 4. The decision, effective Wednesday, June 3, 2026, was made citing safety concerns.

NBK has assured its customers that despite the closure of these specific airport locations, essential banking services will continue to be fully available. Customers are encouraged to utilize services at nearby NBK branches outside the airport.

Furthermore, the bank highlighted the accessibility of its self-service banking facilities, telephone banking, and all digital and electronic channels. These platforms provide continuous access to a wide range of banking transactions and support.
