Neglected Alley in Bruntál to Become Green Relaxation Space

The city of Bruntál is set to transform a neglected alley into a vibrant green space for relaxation and recreation. The Farní alley, previously overlooked, will undergo a comprehensive reconstruction aimed at enhancing its aesthetic appeal and functionality for both residents and visitors.

The project's core objective is to create a seamless connection between Bruntál's historic center and key landmarks, including the depository, the castle park, and the town's fortification system. This integration is expected to improve accessibility and encourage greater engagement with the city's heritage.

Plans for the alley include the introduction of new greenery, the installation of modern street furniture, and the creation of small park areas. Notably, the design incorporates a transparent fence, which will open up views into adjacent gardens, adding to the area's visual appeal. The renovation also includes improvements near a mill race and a bastion remnant.

With an estimated cost of around 19 million Czech crowns, the reconstruction signifies a significant investment in Bruntál's urban development. The project is anticipated to revitalize the area, making it a point of pride for the city and a more enjoyable destination for all.
