Nepali music stars to shine at Xtreme Energy Drinks National Music Awards

The upcoming Xtreme Energy Drinks National Music Awards, set for July 10 at The Plaza, Pulchowk, marks the eighth edition of an event dedicated to celebrating the evolving landscape of Nepali music. Organized by Radio Kantipur, the ceremony promises a vibrant showcase of both established and emerging artists.

Attendees can anticipate performances from a diverse lineup, including singer-songwriters like Samriddhi Rai, known for her blend of personal storytelling and social reflection, and Ujan Shakya, who fuses pop aesthetics with Newa language and culture. The event will also feature the energetic sounds of Deepak Bajracharya, Mantra Band, and the crowd-pleasing John and The Locals. A special medley honoring the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be performed by Shiva Pariyar, Yaman Shrestha, and Salina BK, with an "Xtreme performance" by VZN adding to the evening's entertainment. A comedy act by Prabhat Lama and Karma Singh Lama is also scheduled.
