Libya's National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) has completed a crucial phase in its national planning process, moving from strategy adoption to actual implementation. Director General Mahmoud Al-Futaisi emphasized in an exclusive statement to Libya Herald that the success of these national strategies will be measured by their execution and the tangible results they produce.

Al-Futaisi explained that the NESDB has spent years developing these strategies using scientific methods and broad stakeholder input. He highlighted that the real challenge now lies in the implementation, follow-up, and continuous evaluation to ensure targeted objectives are met. The approved strategies were delivered to Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dabaiba in Tripoli. The government plans to monitor the implementation in coordination with the Minister of State for the Affairs of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. This collaborative approach aims to integrate government efforts and accelerate progress according to national priorities.
