Netanyahu: No diplomatic deal possible with 'wild' Iran leadership

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Tuesday that achieving a diplomatic agreement with Iran's current leadership is impossible. Speaking at an event in Jerusalem, Netanyahu expressed strong doubt about the possibility of reaching any accord with what he described as the "wild" leadership in Tehran.

"I tell you – an agreement cannot be reached," Netanyahu stated, emphasizing his belief that meaningful dialogue or compromise is not feasible with the current Iranian regime. His remarks come as he faces renewed elections in October, a political backdrop that often sharpens his public stances on regional security issues.

The Israeli leader also reiterated his support for the economic pressure campaign being waged against Iran by U.S. President Donald Trump. This stance aligns with Israel's long-held position of seeking to curb Iran's nuclear program and regional influence through international sanctions and diplomatic isolation.
