Netanyahu Orders Removal of Some West Bank Outposts Amid U.S. Pressure Over Settler Attacks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the removal of some outposts in the West Bank as pressure from the United States grew over attacks by Israeli settlers.

Two settlers were arrested in connection with the Qusra incident. At the same time, Israel's High Court considered a separate attack and said the phenomenon violated Israeli and Jewish principles of justice.

In a separate security development, the Israel Defense Forces raided a Hamas cell and found a rocket. The developments placed action against settler violence alongside an ongoing military operation targeting Hamas activity.
