NetUno Drops DSports Signal During World Cup Broadcast

NetUno, a telecommunications provider, has suspended the broadcast of DSports, leaving subscribers unable to watch the 2026 World Cup matches on the channel. The company announced the removal of the signal after failing to reach a mutually beneficial agreement with DSports.

DSports holds the exclusive rights to broadcast all 104 matches of the World Cup. Recognizing the impact this decision has on its customers, NetUno has recommended alternative viewing options. These include watching select matches on Televen, which is broadcasting 40 games (38% of the total), and following live updates through the radio broadcasts of Unión Radio and FM Center.

Unión Radio confirmed on June 12 that it would broadcast the entire World Cup after reaching an agreement with the National Public Media System. NetUno encouraged its users to utilize these national media outlets for their World Cup coverage, ensuring they can still follow the tournament.
