The governor stated that this approval, which expands the Nigerian Army from eight to 12 divisions nationwide, underscores President Tinubu's dedication to bolstering national security. He noted that the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, recently approved commanders for these new divisions as part of a broader command structure expansion.
