New Book Examines Buratai’s Leadership Reforms Amid Nigeria’s Security Challenges

A new book offers a scholarly assessment of the leadership reforms and institutional changes within the Nigerian Army during Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai's tenure as Chief of Army Staff from 2015 to 2021. Authored by Dr. Mohammed Abubakar and titled "Military Transformational Leadership in Action: The Buratai Era," the work delves into the period marked by widespread security challenges, including insurgency and banditry.

The book scrutinizes how military doctrine, training, troop welfare, morale, logistics, and civil-military relations were restructured to address Nigeria's evolving security landscape.
