New bridge between Russia and North Korea could be used militarily

Russia and North Korea have opened their first road bridge, spanning the Tumen River between the two countries.

The bridge was inaugurated on Monday and is being viewed as a sign of increasingly close relations between Moscow and Pyongyang since the war in Ukraine began.

But the new connection is also prompting concern that it could be used to transport military equipment.
