New Cantinflas Museum Opens in Mexico City, Showcasing Actor's Legacy

Fans of Mexican cinema can now immerse themselves in the world of the legendary comedian Mario Moreno, famously known as Cantinflas, with the opening of his dedicated museum in Mexico City. The new cultural space, named "Aquí está el detalle" (Here's the detail), offers a comprehensive journey through the actor's life and career.

The exhibition showcases approximately 400 original items, providing an intimate look at Cantinflas's legacy. Visitors will find a rich collection of photographs, personal belongings, costumes worn by the actor, scripts from his films, and various accolades he received throughout his illustrious career. The museum aims to go beyond static displays, incorporating audiovisual presentations, immersive elements, and interactive exhibits to create a dynamic and engaging experience for all ages.

Located in Colonia Roma Norte at Córdoba 84, the museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Ticket prices vary, with general admission starting at $247, a discounted rate of $147 for Mexican residents, and $77 for students, teachers, and seniors. Visitors are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled entry time. The museum also plans to include a souvenir shop and a restaurant in the future, further enhancing the visitor experience.
