New Contents Academy trains top students in Japan's global content industry

The New Contents Academy (NCA), operated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, is adapting to the rapid evolution of the content industry, spurred by generative AI. Recognizing the need for practical, on-site experience beyond theoretical learning, NCA organized a 'Japan Global Content Industry Training' program for its top trainees.

From June 15 to 19, selected outstanding trainees embarked on a four-day, five-night journey to Tokyo. This immersive program provided them with firsthand exposure to the forefront of the global content industry. Participants visited world-renowned content companies and research institutions, allowing them to directly experience the dynamic changes shaping the sector.

The training aimed to cultivate project leaders capable of navigating the AI era. By engaging with global industry leaders and innovators, trainees gathered diverse ideas and practical insights directly applicable to their future project endeavors. The experience at Japan's largest specialized content industry exhibition, 'Content Tokyo,' offered a comprehensive view of the industry's cutting edge.
