New General Director Appointed for Kyrgyzstan's "Electric Stations"

Ulugbek Mamiraliyev has been appointed the new General Director of "Electric Stations" OJSC, following a decision by the company's board of directors.

According to the company's press service, Mamiraliyev brings over two decades of experience in Kyrgyzstan's energy sector. He has previously led production and technical departments and played a role in modernizing significant energy infrastructure projects across the country.

Mamiraliyev's past involvement includes work on the development and modernization of key facilities such as the Toktogul and Uch-Kurgan hydroelectric power stations. He holds two higher education degrees: one in "Electric Stations" from the Kyrgyz State Technical University (2001-2006) and another in "Management" from the Institute of Management and Business at KSTU named after I. Razzakov (2012-2014).

"Electric Stations" OJSC is identified as Kyrgyzstan's main electricity generating company, producing approximately 84% of the nation's power. The company operates seven hydroelectric power stations: Toktogul, Kurpsai, Kambaratinskaya-2, Uch-Kurgan, At-Bashy, Shamaldy-Sai, and Tash-Kumyr. The total installed capacity of these facilities amounts to 3,293.76 megawatts.
