New Guardian Appointed for Maribel Guardia's Grandson; Executor Challenged

Addis Tuñón, a television host, has been officially appointed as the definitive guardian for Figueroa's young son, J.J.F., by judicial order. This ruling effectively removes Maribel Guardia from her role as the child's guardian.

Tuñón confirmed her new role on the program “De Primera Mano,” stating that the judge's decision was made on Wednesday. Her immediate priority as the child's guardian is to safeguard his interests. Consequently, her first official action was to file a request for the removal of Marco Chacón, Maribel Guardia's husband, from his position as the executor of Julián Figueroa's estate. Tuñón clarified that while she will not directly manage the child's finances or assets, she will oversee their proper utilization.
