New KBS announcer surprises colleagues by mimicking broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo

KBS new announcer Lee Sang-cheol's frugal lifestyle and admiration for broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo have become a talking point.

During a visit to Lee's apartment, fellow KBS announcers Uhm Ji-in and Kim Jin-woong were surprised to find clothes stored in a shoe rack. Lee explained his decision to forgo buying a closet to save money, a move that even fashion designer Ko Tae-yong called "taboo in the fashion world."

Jeon Hyun-moo, who was also present, pointed out the potential for odor, saying, "The smell of feet will come from the clothes." Lee's living space also featured a sink used as a vanity, with cosmetics and a hairdryer placed on top.

The most striking revelation came when Lee confessed that Jeon Hyun-moo is his "role model." This was evident as Lee's apartment contained items identical to Jeon's, including a doormat, a cactus object, and even a CPAP machine for snoring. Jeon reacted with surprise and a hint of amusement, stating, "I'm getting goosebumps. Why would you imitate something like that?"
