New lottery draws in Romania with huge jackpots

Romanians have another chance to win big as the national lottery announces new draws for Sunday, August 9, 2026. The games include Loto 6/49, Noroc, Joker, Noroc Plus, Loto 5/40, and Super Noroc.

The Loto 6/49 jackpot is particularly enticing, with a rollover prize exceeding 9.53 million euros (over 50.06 million lei). For those aiming for the Joker prize, the jackpot stands at over 650,600 euros (more than 3.41 million lei) for the first category, with an additional 25,200 euros available in the second category.

Players can also try their luck with Noroc, which has a cumulative jackpot of over 733,700 euros (more than 3.85 million lei). The Noroc Plus game offers a jackpot exceeding 113,900 euros (over 598,400 lei), while Loto 5/40 has a first category prize of over 27,900 euros (more than 146,500 lei).

Super Noroc also features a jackpot of over 66,500 euros (more than 349,200 lei). These draws follow a successful round on Thursday, August 6, where the Romanian Lottery distributed over 2.14 million lei in prizes across more than 22,400 winning tickets. Notably, a substantial prize of 132,798.62 lei was awarded in the third category of the Joker draw to a ticket purchased in Constanța.
