New minister seeks prayers for honest service, to assess ministry's challenges

Andaleeve Rahman Partho, the newly appointed Information and Broadcasting Minister, is preparing to take charge of his ministry tomorrow and has requested the nation's prayers for his tenure.

After paying homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar, Partho addressed journalists. "I seek prayers from the people of the country that I can work with honesty, dedication and sincerity," he stated.

When questioned about potential challenges within the information and broadcasting ministry, Partho indicated a methodical approach. "I have just been given the responsibility. I will start working at the office tomorrow. Once I go to the ministry, I will understand the extent of its responsibilities and what practical problems it faces," he explained.

Partho expressed optimism about his ability to fulfill his duties effectively, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation and collective effort. He believes that working together with the people will enable him to perform his responsibilities successfully.
