New Party opens Marmaris district office, claims rapid membership growth

The YENİ Party officially launched its district headquarters in Marmaris with a ceremony attended by numerous party members and officials. The event marked a significant step in the party's organizational efforts in the region, with leaders emphasizing their ambition to govern Turkey.

During the opening, party executives and Muğla deputies addressed key issues facing the nation. Their messages focused on the party's ultimate goal of achieving power, alongside critical topics such as the economy, the state of tourism, the financial struggles of retirees, and the broader principles of democracy and law. The new office is intended to serve as a hub for political activity and community engagement in Marmaris.

Pelın Özbozdağ, the founding district chairwoman for YENİ Party Marmaris, highlighted the party's commitment to founding values of the republic, social democracy, justice, equality, and participatory democracy. She asserted that the party's sole objective is to attain power, not merely to remain in opposition, but to lead the country and establish justice for Marmaris, prosperity for tourism, and a future for its youth.

Nail Kızıl, the provincial chairman for YENİ Party Muğla, shared details about the party's rapid membership growth. He stated that since its establishment on July 24 and his appointment on August 3, the party has appointed founding district chairs in all 13 districts of Muğla. As of August 26, the party reported reaching 22,000 members in just 10 days, a figure Kızıl attributed to the dedication of party members and expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic turnout at the event, noting the "hope and excitement" in attendees' eyes.
