New productions and eagerly awaited seasons are coming: What’s on Netflix in September?

Netflix’s September 2026 schedule brings a crowded mix of new productions, returning seasons, miniseries, animation and documentaries.

Among the highlighted series is Mal de Amores, or Lovesick, arriving Sept. 2. The romantic drama is set during the Mexican Revolution and follows a woman pursuing her own dreams under the pressure of tradition. The story also explores the era’s social structure and search for freedom.

The Gentlemen returns for a second season on Sept. 3, combining crime, action and dark humor. Its new episodes expand the story of characters drawn into the criminal underworld, with power struggles, family inheritance, dangerous deals, unexpected decisions and romantic developments.

Crew Girl premieres Sept. 10. The youth drama follows a successful 16-year-old rower whose life changes after she starts at a new school, faces problems at home and joins the boys’ rowing team. Competition, friendship and the search for identity shape the story.

The Turkish production Seni Tanıyorum arrives on Sept. 17. It follows a woman trying to rebuild her life and career after giving birth, while a mysterious nanny creates unexpected cracks in her marriage and family. A Different World, debuting Sept. 24, centers on a young woman entering university and trying to build an identity beyond her family’s past. The schedule also includes The Doll, a miniseries adapted from a classic work of Polish literature.
