New support for farmers in the 'Producing City Denizli'

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is actively supporting producers in Turkey under its "Producing City Denizli" initiative, aiming to bolster the region's agricultural output. The latest effort, the "Greenhouse Nylon Support Project," was launched to help farmers reduce costs and enhance the quality of their produce.

The project's distribution program began in the Kale district, with Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu emphasizing the municipality's commitment to supporting agricultural production. "We will always be by the side of our farmers who protect their land and produce day and night," Çavuşoğlu stated during the launch event. He added that the initiative aims to make agricultural production more resilient and alleviate the financial burden on farmers, underscoring the belief that Denizli thrives when its producers succeed.

Kale Mayor Erkan Hayla expressed gratitude for the support, calling it a significant morale boost for local agriculture. He highlighted that the assistance is crucial for farmers facing challenging production conditions. The distribution in Kale provided 485 producers with high-quality, climate-resistant greenhouse nylons.

The distribution program is set to continue throughout the week. By Wednesday, July 22, 519 nylons will be delivered in Beyağaç. On July 23, 165 nylons will go to Güney and 344 to Buldan. The week will conclude on July 24 with deliveries of 226 nylons in Tavas and 165 in Acıpayam, extending support to hundreds more producers. The nylons provided are 8 meters wide and 30 meters long, designed to withstand harsh climate conditions for 36 months, representing a substantial upgrade for modern agricultural practices.
