New Taipei AI+ Smart Park Offers 3 Incentives to Attract Businesses

New Taipei City is rolling out a new incentive package to draw companies into its AI+ Smart Park, aiming to solidify the region's position as a hub for smart technology. The city's Economic Development Bureau announced three key measures for the park's land leasing tender, which closes on October 20.

Businesses will find more flexibility with relaxed industry category restrictions, excluding only government agencies, tourism, and religious facilities. Additionally, the base monthly rent per square meter has been reduced by 20%, easing initial investment and operational costs for companies. The park also offers greater adaptability in building space allocation, encouraging upstream and downstream industries to co-locate and develop a robust cluster.

The "New Taipei International AI+ Smart Park" spans approximately 3.04 hectares across five plots. Its strategic location near national highways and Taoyuan International Airport provides excellent transportation links. The park is designed to accommodate businesses seeking substantial, scalable facilities.

New Taipei City boasts over 320,000 registered companies and factories, contributing nearly a quarter of Taiwan's manufacturing output. The area has already attracted major players like GIGABYTE, Foxconn, AAEON, Google, and ASML. City officials are committed to enhancing infrastructure, optimizing the investment environment, and providing administrative support to facilitate business growth and establish the park as a core smart technology center in northern Taiwan.
