New Taipei Candidate Lee Ssu-chuan Cheers DanceSport Athletes, Pledges Facility Improvements

New Taipei City mayoral candidate Lee Ssu-chuan actively engaged with the local sports community by attending the New Taipei Zhongzheng Cup National DanceSport Competition held at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium. The event showcased a vibrant display of talent, with 246 teams competing across age categories ranging from toddlers to professional adults.

During his visit, Lee offered words of encouragement to the athletes representing New Taipei. He also visited the backstage area to support young competitors and their parents. Lee emphasized the importance of danceSport, highlighting its blend of aesthetics, technique, physical fitness, and social interaction.

Lee pledged his commitment to enhancing the hard infrastructure for danceSport in New Taipei City should he be elected. He aims to provide athletes with better training venues and resources, allowing them to pursue their dreams with confidence. The event was co-organized by the Chinese Taipei Sports Dance Association and the New Taipei City Sports Association.
