New Taipei Children's Arts Festival to Feature 'Monster Jungle' and French Puppet Troupe

The 2026 New Taipei City Children's Arts Festival is set to transform New Taipei City Plaza and surrounding areas into a "Monster Jungle" from July 11 to 19. The festival, running daily from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., promises a vibrant experience for young attendees.

Organized by the New Taipei City Cultural Affairs Bureau, the event will feature five major attractions, with a special highlight being the appearance of a famous French giant puppet theater group. This international collaboration is expected to bring a unique artistic flair to the festival, offering children a glimpse into diverse forms of performance art.

The festival aims to immerse children in a world of imagination, with the "Monster Jungle" theme encouraging exploration and creativity. The chosen venues, including the New Taipei City Plaza, the first-floor hall of the City Hall, and Fuzhong 202 Plaza in Banqiao District, are expected to buzz with activity throughout the nine-day event.
