New Taipei Mayoral Candidate Vows to Build International Arts Hub

Su Chiao-hui, a candidate for New Taipei City mayor, attended a vibrant dance performance, highlighting her dedication to promoting arts and culture within the region. The event, held in Luzhou District, showcased the talents of the internationally acclaimed Xiangxu Ballet and the Taipei New Generation Dance Company.

Su expressed her gratitude to City Councilor Chiu Ting-wei for her long-standing support of artistic activities in the Sanchong and Luzhou areas. Su pledged that if elected mayor, she would continue to encourage local arts organizations and strive to transform New Taipei City into a globally recognized center for arts and culture. She noted her personal connection to dance, as her own daughter studies ballet, giving her a deep understanding of the dedication and hard work involved.

Councilor Chiu Ting-wei organized the free public performance, titled "Dancing Youth Carnival - Let's Dance Together in Summer Vacation 2026," in collaboration with the Sanchong and Luzhou district offices. The event drew over 300 audience members eager to experience the diverse dance styles and festive atmosphere.
