New water supply systems to be built in three Kyrgyz regions

Kyrgyzstan's Department for the Development of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Services has begun actively implementing the first phase of the Universal Access to Water Supply and Sanitation program.

The project targets 130 villages in the Osh, Chuy and Issyk-Kul regions. It aims to provide residents with safe drinking water and modern wastewater services.

More than 450,000 people are expected to gain access to clean water as a result.
