New York Ignites with BTS 'Arirang' Tour; Fans Flock from Across U.S.

New Jersey's MetLife Stadium transformed into a sea of purple as thousands of BTS fans, affectionately known as ARMY, converged for the group's 'Arirang' world tour. Fans journeyed from across the United States, with some traveling eight hours from North Carolina, to witness the highly anticipated comeback concert. The event, scheduled for two days, has the capacity to hold over 80,000 spectators per show. Even hours before the official start, the stadium area was buzzing with activity, roads were congested, and nearby shopping centers and restaurants saw a surge in visitors. Many fans arrived early, enduring temperatures nearing 30 degrees Celsius, to secure good spots and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere. They shared handmade merchandise, including photo cards and bracelets, and sported purple attire, the fandom's signature color. This tour is particularly significant as it marks BTS's first performances as a complete group since members fulfilled their mandatory military service. Fans expressed relief and joy at seeing the members reunited on stage, with some highlighting the pride in the members fulfilling their national duty.
