Newey swerves Horner speculation, confirms management 'tweaks' at Aston Martin

Adrian Newey, the principal of Aston Martin's Formula One team, has dismissed ongoing speculation linking his former Red Bull colleague Christian Horner to a move to Aston Martin. Horner, a highly successful figure in F1, became a free agent after parting ways with Red Bull last year.

Newey, speaking to reporters at the Hungarian Grand Prix, stated that he could not comment on rumors surrounding Horner. "I don't know anything about that," Newey said. "All I can say is that we're very happy with our senior management team. And we may do some minor tweaks, but the personnel we have at AMR (Aston Martin Racing), we are very happy with that."

Despite the denials, Newey acknowledged that some adjustments to the senior management structure are anticipated. Rumors have also linked former Audi principal Jonathan Wheatley, who previously worked with Newey at Red Bull, to Aston Martin. Wheatley has been on 'gardening leave' since March and is expected to be available to join another team in the new year, potentially sooner if an agreement is reached.
