Next generation of artists featured at Kathmandu's Gallery Mcube

Gallery Mcube in Kathmandu is presenting the 'Mcube Young Artists Show 2026,' a curated exhibition of works by ten emerging artists. The show, which runs until July 31, offers a platform for young talent to explore various artistic approaches, including paintings, mixed media, drawing, and installation.

Curator Manish Lal Shrestha emphasized the event's role in fostering contemporary art's next generation. He stated that the exhibition "nurtures new voices, encourages artistic exploration, and creates meaningful connections between emerging artists and the wider art community." This initiative underscores a commitment to developing the local art scene.

The featured artists, including Amisha KC, Amisha Maharjan, and Kripa Shakya, address a wide range of topics. Their works delve into issues such as women's rights, the impacts of urbanization, societal changes driven by modernity, Newari culture, personal expression, and concerns relevant to indigenous and minority groups. The exhibition is noted for its diversity of voices and artistic styles.
