Port Moresby will host the highly anticipated National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) Kumite: Last Man Standing Series Heat #03 Quarter Final, organized by the Papua New Guinea Kickboxing Federation (PNGKBF) in collaboration with Headhunter KO. This event promises a grueling test of skill, discipline, and endurance for elite and aspiring fighters.

The National Gaming Control Board has provided significant support through a K300,000 grant from its Give Back Program. This funding underscores the event's mission to utilize sports as a powerful tool for youth empowerment, promoting healthy lifestyles, and identifying athletic talent across the nation.

Scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026, the event will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Taurama Aquatic Centre. Spectators can witness the high-stakes tournament live, with tickets priced at K15 for adults and K10 for children under 16. All bouts will adhere to strict 3x3 K-1 rules, ensuring intense and competitive matchups.

The tournament features a "Last Man Standing" (LMS) format across five competitive weight classes. The 60KG, 65KG, 70KG, 75KG, and 80KG divisions will showcase top contenders, explosive featherweights, powerhouse combatants, seasoned regional champions, and the heaviest hitters, promising devastating exchanges. Fighters from various centers are expected to participate in this one-day series.
