NIBIRU festival RETROGRADE revives 2000s music and culture

The NIBIRU resort is set to host RETROGRADE, the concluding festival of its inaugural season, dedicated to the music and culture of the 2000s.

The festival, running from August 28 to 30, follows a week of diverse programming. This included family-focused events and the "Popcorn Days," which celebrated Romanian dance and pop music that gained significant international traction in the early 2000s.

RETROGRADE promises to transport attendees back to the turn of the millennium, featuring a lineup of iconic international and Romanian artists who defined the era. Headlining the event are music heavyweights Timbaland, EVE, Fat Joe, Keri Hilson, Busta Rhymes, and the Romanian hip-hop group La Familia.

Each day of the festival is curated to highlight different aspects of 2000s music. August 28 features EVE and Timbaland, with August 29 dedicated to hip-hop and R&B artists Fat Joe and Keri Hilson. The final day will showcase performances from La Familia, promising a nostalgic and energetic conclusion to NIBIRU's summer season.
