Night market dispute: Two stalls close after boundary fight

A dispute over stall boundaries at Fengyuan Miaodong Night Market in Taiwan has led to a temporary closure of two adjacent businesses: a popular garlic pork rice stall and an Eastern style duck vendor. The conflict erupted on the evening of July 15, reportedly when one vendor's stall setup encroached on the other's designated space, sparking a heated argument that escalated into property damage.

One of the vendors reportedly lost control, flipping tables and vandalizing the neighboring stall. Following the incident, both businesses ceased operations. The garlic pork rice stall has since been seen undertaking repairs, with employees seen repaving the stall area with cement, signaling an imminent return to business.

When asked about the neighboring Eastern style duck vendor's reopening, staff were reportedly tight-lipped, stating they were unaware of the timeline.
