Nissan is set to capture attention at the upcoming 2026 Tokyo Camping Car Show with its Caravan MyRoom, a camper van designed to evoke the comfort and style of a Japanese tatami room. This unique vehicle, based on the Caravan MPV, transforms the standard van into a mobile living space with a distinct aesthetic and practical features for outdoor living.

The exterior of the Caravan MyRoom sports a rugged yet refined look, with black anti-scratch materials on the grille, mirrors, and door handles, complemented by a sand/off-white two-tone paint job and black steel wheels. Special "MyRoom" decals identify the vehicle. For the 2026 model, Nissan is introducing a wider range of single-color options to cater to diverse preferences, alongside the signature two-tone design.

Inside, the Caravan MyRoom truly shines, offering a luxurious "和室" (washitsu) or Japanese-style room ambiance. Extensive use of wood paneling creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Buyers can choose between two bed configurations: a flip-up bed or a fold-down bed. The modular design allows for easy conversion between living, dining, and sleeping areas, adapting to various needs. The second-row seats can also swivel backward, providing a sofa-like, comfortable seating experience.
