No Chinese Aircraft Detected Near Taiwan; 7 Naval Vessels Observed in Strait

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reported that seven Chinese naval vessels were observed operating in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait. The military confirmed these activities occurred between Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

During the same period, the Republic of China Armed Forces did not detect any Chinese military aircraft entering Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). This indicates a focus on naval presence rather than aerial incursions in the immediate reporting timeframe.

The Ministry emphasized that Taiwan's armed forces are maintaining a high level of readiness. They are utilizing a comprehensive network of mission aircraft, naval vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to any developments in the region.
