This decision, outlined in a statement signed by the head of the organization, Germán Codina, applies to the 200th edition of the rivalry, scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Considering the technical reports issued by the competent institutions, the decision has been made that the Superclásico between Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo, to be held at the Estadio Nacional this Sunday, will be played without visiting fans.

According to the delegation, the exclusion of visiting fans is based solely on technical reports from relevant institutions and is driven by a commitment to ensuring the safety of all attendees and residents in the vicinity of the Estadio Nacional. Codina emphasized that the organization has been actively working towards the return of both fan bases to Chilean football classics. However, he stressed the importance of implementing necessary security measures and developing tools that provide greater peace of mind for spectators before allowing visiting fans back.
