‘No widespread issues’: On E20, govt faces question in Parliament, minister say this in reply

The Indian government has asserted that the nationwide rollout of E20 fuel, a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline, is not facing widespread problems. Minister Suresh Gopi addressed the issue in a written response to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament.

Gopi stated that the Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP) has been implemented through a carefully planned, phased approach. He emphasized that this process has been scientifically validated, suggesting that the program's progression is based on rigorous testing and assessment.
