Noh Si-hwan's walk-off hit lifts Hanwha Eagles over Doosan Bears to reclaim fifth place

The Hanwha Eagles secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over the Doosan Bears, thanks to a walk-off single by Noh Si-hwan in the bottom of the ninth inning. This crucial win propelled Hanwha back into fifth place in the KBO League standings, pushing Doosan down to sixth.

Doosan initially took the lead in the second inning when Park Chan-ho and Oh Myung-jin hit consecutive singles, setting up Yoon Jun-ho for a sacrifice fly. However, Hanwha quickly responded in the bottom half of the inning, with Noh Si-hwan launching a solo home run off Doosan starter Takada Takuto to tie the game.

The Bears regained the lead in the sixth inning. With runners on first and third, Ryu Seung-min hit a ground ball to second base, allowing the runner from third to score. Hanwha, however, refused to back down. In the seventh inning, Yonathan Perlaza tied the game again with a solo home run off Doosan reliever Kim Taek-yeon.

The game remained tied until the bottom of the ninth. After Perlaza led off with a double, Hanwha had a chance to win. Though Moon Hyun-bin struck out, Doosan intentionally walked Noh Si-hwan to face Kang Baek-ho. However, the strategy backfired as Noh Si-hwan, after the intentional walk, came up again and delivered the game-winning hit.
