Christopher Nolan's "Odyssey," a cinematic adaptation of Homer's epic poem, arrives in Serbian cinemas on July 16. The film, nearly three millennia in the making since the original "Odyssey" was penned, promises a visually stunning experience, having been entirely captured with IMAX cameras.

This marks the realization of Nolan's long-standing dream to utilize IMAX technology, a passion he developed after filming "The Dark Knight." Lukić explained the technical advantages of IMAX film, which uses a 70mm film strip compared to the standard 35mm. This larger format allows the camera to capture significantly more detail, resulting in a much more intense viewing experience. The IMAX cameras also offered superior sound isolation on set. "In terms of visual and audio, this is unsurpassed technology," Lukić stated.

"Odyssey" tells the timeless story of courage, honor, and temptation, exploring human nature and the whims of the gods through Nolan's directorial lens. A special IMAX screening is scheduled at the Cineplexx Galerija cinema, offering audiences a premiere viewing in the immersive format.
