Norris Wins Dutch Grand Prix, Extends Winning Streak

Lando Norris secured a commanding victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, extending his winning streak to two consecutive races in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The McLaren driver started from pole position at the Zandvoort circuit and, despite a race punctuated by numerous interruptions, including an early red flag for a crash involving Max Verstappen, maintained his lead.

Norris battled closely with teammate Kimi Antonelli for a significant portion of the race. He ultimately took the lead on lap 54 and held it until the checkered flag, earning 25 points. This win propelled Norris to fourth place in the drivers' standings with 159 points.

Antonelli, who leads the championship with 242 points, finished second, followed by George Russell, who also achieved a podium finish. Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who finished fourth in the race, are now tied for second in the standings with 183 points each. Meanwhile, Franco Colapinto of Alpine started 14th and finished in the same position after incurring two penalties, remaining 12th overall with 19 points.

In the constructors' championship, Mercedes continues to lead with 425 points, thanks to Antonelli and Russell. Ferrari is second with 338 points, while Alpine holds sixth place with 63 points. The F1 season will resume on September 6, 2026, with the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The Bahrain Grand Prix has been rescheduled to October 2-4 in Sepang, Malaysia.
