Norris wins in Zandvoort, Antonelli extends championship lead

Lando Norris claimed victory at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, marking his second consecutive win of the Formula 1 season. The McLaren driver held his initial lead and ultimately secured his 13th career victory.

Despite an early incident involving Max Verstappen, who crashed out on the first lap, the race saw several lead changes. Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes continues to lead the overall standings with 242 points. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are tied for second with 183 points, while Norris has climbed to fourth with 159 points.

The race featured a crucial moment in lap 54 when Norris overtook Antonelli and Hamilton on the tight Zandvoort circuit. Russell initially finished second but yielded the position to Antonelli after team instructions, allowing Antonelli to secure second place. Hamilton finished fourth, with Charles Leclerc in fifth.

This event was the last Formula 1 race to be held at the Zandvoort track.
