'Not an ordinary year': Pakistani students start receiving their CIE results for June series

Students across Pakistan have begun receiving their Cambridge International Education (CIE) results for the June 2026 exam series. This year, more than 100,000 students from over 850 schools in Pakistan sat for exams including Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge O Level, and IGCSE. Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science were the most popular subjects. Uzma Yousuf, country director for International Education at Cambridge, acknowledged the challenges students faced. "This has not been an ordinary year," Yousuf stated in a CIE press release. "Some students prepared for their examinations against a backdrop of regional tensions, uncertainty and disruption, which makes today’s achievement even more meaningful." She encouraged learners to celebrate their accomplishments and thanked the supporting teachers, parents, and school communities.
