NPA clears abandoned NDPHC power equipment

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has successfully facilitated the recovery and clearance of vital power equipment belonging to the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC). This equipment had been abandoned and left idle at various Nigerian seaports, hindering progress on crucial national projects.

Jennifer Adighije, the Managing Director of NDPHC, expressed her gratitude during a courtesy visit to the NPA's management. She described the recovery and clearance as "critical to strengthening Nigeria’s power infrastructure and ensuring the effective delivery of ongoing and planned power projects." Adighije emphasized that prolonged delays could have negatively impacted project timelines and increased costs.
