NRM Caucus Moves to Munyonyo, Leaves Kololo for Ray G Concert

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Parliamentary Caucus has shifted its upcoming meeting venue from the Independence Grounds at Kololo to the Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort Hotel. This change, announced by Government Chief Whip Dr. Ruth Aceng, aims to provide a more suitable environment for the caucus's deliberations and activities.

Dr. Aceng explained that the larger venue at Munyonyo will better accommodate all NRM and NRM-leaning Independent Members of Parliament. The meeting is particularly significant as it will feature an address from President Yoweri Museveni, who also serves as the party's National Chairperson. The shift is intended to facilitate a more comfortable seating arrangement and conducive interaction among members.

The Caucus has been shifted to Munyonyo Commonwealth Hotel. We expect all NRM and NRM-leaning Independent MPs to be there by midday because the President and National Chairperson of the Ruling Party will be addressing the Caucus.

The decision to move the meeting is also influenced by the need to streamline logistics and accommodate various planned activities, including entertainment. This comes as the ruling party actively mobilishes its members in preparation for critical government business and party activities within Parliament.

This venue change also resolves a scheduling conflict, freeing up the Kololo grounds for musician Ray G's concert. Ray G, a popular artist from the Ankole region known for his unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds, has a significant following and has previously held well-attended concerts in Kampala. His performance at Kololo proceeds as planned, marking another step in his rising music career.
