Ntamack says media exaggerates rivalry with French teammate Jalibert

French rugby star Romain Ntamack has spoken out about the perceived rivalry between himself and fellow fly-half Matthieu Jalibert, asserting that the media significantly inflates the situation. Ntamack told L’Équipe that while competition is natural within the French national team, his relationship with Jalibert is strong and has never been a problem.

I think it does us good to play together when we are competitors. It has also allowed us to discover each other a little more. The competition is there, but it also exists with Antoine (Hastoy) and all the other fly-halves who can be considered. I think it is healthy.
