Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Dine with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and Family

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, currently visiting South Korea, is set to have a dinner meeting with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and his family at a Kkanbu Chicken restaurant. This encounter comes just two days after Huang shared a meal with other prominent South Korean business leaders.

The meeting is scheduled for the evening of June 7 at the same Gangnam district restaurant where Huang previously met with Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chairman Chung Euisun for 'chimaek' (chicken and beer) last October. At that time, Chey, in his capacity as chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was unable to attend due to prior commitments related to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

A source from the business community indicated that Huang plans to have a meal with his family, and Chey will be joining them for a visit. This follows Huang's earlier engagement on June 5, where he dined with leaders including LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Naver Global Investment Officer Lee Hae-jin. That earlier gathering was notably referred to as a 'hyungnim' (older brother) meeting, referencing the restaurant's name.
