Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Throw First Pitch at Doosan Bears Game; Doosan Chairman to Bat

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Doosan Bears home game against the Kiwoom Heroes in Seoul on July 7. Park Jung-won, chairman of the Doosan Group, will participate as the ceremonial batter. This event highlights a notable intersection of technology and sports, with Huang, known for his keen interest in baseball, participating in the Korean professional league. Huang has previously thrown first pitches at Major League Baseball and Taiwanese professional baseball games. For this occasion, he will don a Doosan Bears uniform bearing the number 93, symbolizing Nvidia's founding year of 1993. Chairman Park, whose family owns the Doosan Bears and who played baseball in college, will wear a uniform with the number 96, representing Doosan's founding year of 1896, as he steps up to the plate. Prior to the game, Park and other Doosan executives are expected to meet with Huang for discussions, potentially touching on Nvidia's AI platforms and Doosan's robotics technology.
