Nyandungu Eco-Park sees visitor numbers more than double after restoration

Nyandungu Eco-Park in Rwanda is experiencing a surge in popularity following its extensive restoration efforts. The park manager, Ildephonse Kambogo, reported that in 2025, Nyandungu Eco-Park attracted 111,710 visitors. This figure represents a dramatic increase compared to the 48,813 visitors recorded in 2022, before the park's revitalization.

The substantial growth in visitor numbers underscores the success of the park's restoration and its appeal to both local and potentially international tourists. The park's transformation aims to provide a green space for recreation and conservation, and the increased footfall suggests it is fulfilling this purpose effectively.

This positive trend is occurring amidst an ongoing investment drive aimed at further enhancing the park's facilities and attractions.
