NYSC Announces September 7-13, 2026 for Batch C Registration; NERD Clearance Mandatory

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the official dates for the online registration of prospective members for the 2026 Batch C. The registration window will be open from Monday, September 7, to Sunday, September 13, 2026.

A crucial requirement for all prospective corps members (PCMs) is the National Education Records Database (NERD) Clearance Certificate. The NYSC has made it clear that this clearance is compulsory and must be obtained before any PCMs can complete their registration process.

In a notice issued on Friday, the NYSC strongly advised PCMs to secure their NERD clearance early to prevent any delays in their mobilization for the national service. The scheme emphasized that individuals without the required clearance will be unable to register for the upcoming service year, reiterating the mantra, "No NERD clearance, no NYSC registration."

All prospective corps members preparing for the 2026 Batch C mobilization are urged to prioritize obtaining their NERD clearance ahead of the designated registration period to ensure a smooth process.
